Nautilus Keyboard Searches Not Working

Hello!

I'm using Hardy Harron on a Dell Latitude D630.

I was using Nautilus (Gnome's file browser) the other day, when all of a sudden, keyboard searches stopped working... As in, when you load up Nautilus and then type "po" to quickly highlight the "population" directory (or at least something starting with "po"). Usually there's a little input dialog that pops up at the bottom right, showing you your inputs too... However nothing happens when I type stuff. I can use shortcuts, and press up/down/left/right (that all works), but typing to quickly search the directory doesn't work...

Is there an option somewhere that might have been disabled or something?

THanks!
