Nautilus Icons Don't Work


I'm using fluxbox window manager and nautilus as a file browser. It works fine, execpt the icons don't display properly, have a look:

It works fine if I'm using GNOME, but I like fluxbox. I'm using Slackware 10.0, if that helps.

that is a common bug when using Nautilus while not logged in to Gnome, i don't exactly remember the remedy but it is something like going to /usr/share/icons and making a backup of the gnome directory and then re-naming hicolor to gnome, but i may be wrong so google for an answer or wait for a second opinion...
