Nameserver Issues with IP's in centos

I am trying to set my 2 IP's as nameservers however when I set them as nameservers and I try set them on namecheap I get:
Quote:
We encountered some issues when setting nameservers. The reported problem is: Invalid Name Server: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Invalid Name Server: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Code:
resolv.conf
search domain.com
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Am I doing something wrong?

what do these things have to do with each other? You're getting some error entering these IP's into a DNS web portal? How does this relate to linux?

Configure the DNS client settings? Well that's the right format for resolv.conf. I still don't see the connection here. What is happening that shouldn't? Or vice versa?
