My mouse keep "jumping" to the right?

Hi.
Sometimes my mouse is going to the right suddenly its just to the right and thats very frustrating. The window minimize when the mouse jumps and it's almost impossible to do anything when the window always minimize (while i typed this it happened 4 times!!).

PS. Sorry for my bad English hope you understand it.

Your mouse is probably losing sync. This can have multiple causes, ranging from a badly connected cable to a driver error. Have a look at your kernel and X server logs and search the web for any mouse-related errors you find there.

Just a few days back I faced the same problem when I have installed my new machine. For me, it was due to the faulty PS2 port of the mouse. After replacing the motherboard, the problem went off.
