Music sheet program?

Hi there,

I'm looking for a program allowing to compose/play music. I've found noteedit, but it is just too big. It wants me to compile half KDE to be installed... Is there something like noteedit but with fewer dependencies?

There is also Rosegarden, but I think it is even bigger. Denemo is somewhat incomplete, but smaller.

I think lilypond also do music sheets.
