msn in linux (amsn and gaim not working)

I will try that and get back to you. Seems the nss packages I took were for linux pdm or simular. But I will try fresh with gnutls

ok I just downloaded the tar.gz for gnutls and atempted a ./configure when it told me i was missing libgcrypt

so I downloaded the tar.gz for that and did the configure/make/make install with no errors, but when I atempted to go back to gnutls and do a configure it again complains I dont have libgcrypt

why can't it find libgcrypt?

which version of libgcrypt does it ask for?
i had the same problem and it was resolved after i got the latest version of libgcrypt on the system

you haveto type ./amsn to start it

I can start it BUT...when I try to login with my mail and password it just redirect back to the 'login' part
