MS Office 2003

has anyone been able to install office 2003 in linux. i came accross an enterprise edition today that someone had left in the cd drive of my moms laptop , but i couldnt install it in linux. when using WINE, it gave me the "you need to upgrade your version of windows" error cause wine identifies itself as windows 98, and it needs to be 2000 or above. then, i downloaded the trial version of crossoveroffice and it said that office 2003 is not supported ATM. so, any other options?

you can edit the .config file in .wine in your home directory and change
[Version]
; Windows version to imitate (win95,win98,winme,nt351,nt40,win2k,winxp,win2k3,win20,win30,win31)
;"Windows" = "win98" <------ from win98 to winxp
; DOS version to imitate
;"DOS" = "6.22"

hopefully that should do the trick... also have a look at
