mplayer screen positioning

I have have been using mplayer of a while now and recently with a Beryl upgrade my playbar (mplayer control, play, stop etc) has disappeared off the screen. I can see the video and control it by right clicking and using the menu options.

In the config file I have tried to set the startup position of mplayer but only the video area seems to respond to this.

Any ideas before I break it? ;-)

Edit your ~/.mplayer/gui.conf file and search for the line "gui_main_pos_x=". Set the x and y value to something like 15 each. Save and close the file.

When you open mplayer the playbar should be in the upper left corner of the screen
