mplayer and nonstandard URLs

The internet radio that I listen to recently changed their URL. The new URL works in Firefox and works if I open it in Kplayer, but I can't get mplayer to open it from the command line. The URL is:
Code:
http://wm-eon.vitalstreamcdn.com/live_eonwmss_vitalstream_com_abc-wbapam1?PPID=3511&Gender=N&Age=0&MSWMExt=.asf
I think the issue is the ampersands in the URL, but I have no idea what to do about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the commandline output:
Code:
mplayer -playlist http://wm-eon.vitalstreamcdn.com/live_eonwmss_vitalstream_com_abc-wbapam1?PPID=3511&Gender=N&Age=0&MSWMExt=.asf
[6] 15744
[7] 15745
[8] 15746
[7] Done Gender=N
[8] Done Age=0

Nevermind, I solved it. In my case, all I had to do was enclose the URL in quotes. Here's a reference for anyone else having this kind of trouble.
