i'm trying to set up a live video transmition. I've successfully installed Darwin streaming server and i'm now trying to install mpeg4ip together with mp4live. mpeg4ip istallation was successful, but mp4live has not been installed. bootstrap returns this error message: MP4Live is not installed (requires V4L2 - check log). I read mpeg4ip documentation, the section about installing v4l2 too. I'm using 2.6.9 kernel and i've enabled i2c and video for linux support. I've also been albe to use xawtv, which is v4l2 based. I really don't get why mpeg4ip doesn't recognise v4l2.

Please help if you can, the whole thing is driving me crazy!

Now i've even installed a new kernel (2.6.15) and compiled v4l2 into the kernel and as a module (named videodev), but nothing works!? What should i do?
