Mp3/audio burn commandline

I was using audio_burn and it was working great for awhile. But now sometimes it wont start encoding the mp3s. It will just hang

audio_burn --device=0,0,0 --speed=32 --nonormalize *
audio_burn 0.0.4 Copyright 2003 (C) Neill Miller

Linux sg driver version: 3.1.24
*** Detected 1 SCSI CD Device ***

Device 0: 'LITE-ON ' 'LTR-52246S ' '6S0A' Removable CD-ROM
scsibus is 0, target is 0, lun is 0 (label is 0)

------
But if i just go to another batch of mp3s it will work. I found nothing different witht he mp3 names/quality/ or any other preferences. All 192kbit.

Or would someone know a better command line application that does the same thing?
