mozilla won't load up: lock file?


mozilla won't load up anymore after putting on the optimoz plugins ... i deleted the lock file in the user, and even delete the whole user file, i can remake users and it just will recreate the lock file...

thanks for any help

ah, just noticed..i can run mozilla as root...grand...i think im going to just change over to root, even if its dangerous, id rather it be dangerous than not be able to use a good web browser
