Mozilla middle click problem, maybe a mouse problem
I don't know it anyone has this problem or whether or not it bothers them, but in mozilla and mozilla firefox, the mouse 3 wheel button, when clicked, makes the page return the the first visited page. This is EXTREMELY annoying, but seeing as no one else seems to think so, is it possible I have an incorrectly configured mouse that could possibly be sending different button clicks? Its especially annoying when using the autoscoller in firefox because 1 of 3 times I will make the mistake of clicking the 3rd button (wheel) to get the autoscroller off and I am sent away to some crazy page. Thanks.
Thanks for giving me a kick in the pants on it. I've been meaning to find the solution. Most silly stuff like this is a configuration issue. I lost "X" over a stupid config thing. One line(init5 was init3)! Grrr!
I had the same problem, but insted of a scroll wheel I just have another button (which I think is at best worthless) I'm so glad I'm not the only one who ran into that
