Redhat 8.0 & Mozilla 1.0.1-26

Mozilla works well under all logins, including root, except one. On this one Mozilla starts building its window and then immediately disappears. Mozilla -g returns:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
serial 1881 error_code 3 request_code 2 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
serial 1882 error_code 3 request_code 61 minor_code 0

Any ideas?

Did you install any plug-in under root?

Login as the no-mozilla account. Bring up terminal

rm -fr .mozilla

Run mozilla

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have installed the Sun jre plugin as root, but permissions to it are 755. This works perfectly for everyone else except this one user.

I've tried deleting ~/.mozilla, but when I restart it, it simply creates a default profile and then does exactly the same thing!

su
chmod 775 -R /java-path
