Mozilla Firefox 74.0 crashes. shall I first uninstall add-ons?

Good evening,

Mozilla is crashing since app one year. Nothing so irritating. I restart and automatically all sheets appear again, even not disconnecting from logins.
I hoped in vain that updates could have fixed automatically the bug.

Shall I first try uninstalling add-ons, perhaps older ones?

Thanks

I would start there. If the crashes go away, add one addon at a time until the breakage occurs.

Another thing to try is to copy your firefox profile off and start with a clean profile. Make a copy of the
Code:
.mozilla
directory in your /home/<user> or rename that directory to
Code:
.mozilla-old
, then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away, it is something in your old profile. Unfortunately at that point, you will have to restore your bookmarks, cookies, etc.

An alternative could be to start firefox from a terminal and use it until it crashes. Check the terminal for output to see if there is anything meaningful.
