Mint 17 Cinnamon 32-BIT SWAP Partition

/dev/sda2 is my 2GB swap partition. How do I set it active?
And how do I get /dev/sda3 to automount? Settings in Disks are OK but it still does not mount this partition upon boot-up. How should I be going about this?
