Question Minimum SUSE Install required for Ximian Desktop 2?

I like the power of SUSE, but also like using the GNOME desktop. I know that Ximian Gnome noiw supports SuSE 9.0, but am starting on a fresh box with my SUSE install. my questiuon is this: What is the minimal installation of SUSE 9.0 that I can perform and still be able to pull down and use Ximian Desktop 2?

Thanks in advance!!

i'd just install the minimal xwindow system, plus gnome. it will replace most of the gnome with ximian specific packages but may need some of the libraries.
