Cool Migrating from kpilot to command line

I recently lost kpilot when upgrading to KDE 3.5

I still use Korganizer, though, but all attempts to install kpilot by hand have failed. I'm so fed up with GUIs that I would like to start migrating to command line tools only.

I would like to transfer my Korganizer files (*.ics) into my Visor using the console. I've been looking into pilot-link and coldsync, but there seems to be no simple way to make the transfer.

Can somebody suggest a method/tutorial transfer files between Korganizer and my Handspring Visor? Maybe convert the files first before using pilot-link?

Any hint will be appreciated.

Clearly, using ietf2datebook calendar.ics, followed by install-datebook does not work.
Anybody knows of a CLI way to transfer an iCalendar to a Handspring Visor?
