media player for songs bought on itunes


ok so short and simple is there any music player out there that can manage all of the files on my ipod but also can play all the music i bought off of the itunes music store.

Probably not because of the DRM. Have not yet figured out why people will pay real money for music that Big Brother has tampered with. OTOH, I hear that there are programs which will strip the DRM away.

If you really want iTunes on Linux, you could always pay for CrossOver Office:

I don't like the iTunes Store either, so I mostly use gtkpod as an interface for my iPod(I don't like iPod either, but got it as a gift).

As for iTunes like players with iPod support(none of them support everything),

thank you all i have already tried amarok and couldn't get it to work so then i tried rythembox and it didn't work. i do not want to pay for crossover so i will just try gtkpod but it looks like it will work so yeah thank you all so much
