Talking Media Player?


Hi, does anyone know where i could get a good media player that i can copy my music across to for red hat 9 that would fit on a floppy disk as i cant get the internet working on linux at the moment, and could you please be so kind how to install it. Thanks peeps

This will let XMMS (Winamp clone) which you already have installed on RH9 play mp3s as well as the usual.

Command line apps like amp and mpg321 are also small enough to fit on a diskette.

The source code for snackamp is also small enough to fit on a diskette if you want a gui audio player other than xmms to try.

Type rpm -ivh xmms-mp3-1.2.7-21.p.fr1.i386.rpm as root.
