Measure CPU Utilization on Real time Linux

Hi,

We just installed Red Hat MRG on top of RHEL. I lost my favorite mpstat utility to measure cpu performance when MRG was loaded. What is the correct utility to measure cpu performance on MRG installed linux?

Thanks-

Haven't used MRG myself but on looking at the documentation at:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...nterprise_MRG/

It appears to be designed to spread the load over several systems. As such monitoring of CPU in and of itself wouldn't seem to be meaningful.

That seems to be born out by the tuning guides seen at above site (there is one for Real Time). Both mention using "ftrace" to track "latencies" and my read of that suggests it is the closest analogue you'll find.
