Mandrake 9.2 and stock 2.6.7

Hello all, this is my first post here and i'm still fairly light weathered in linux... i have been working on compiling stock 2.6.7 in Mandrake and compile and everything (after some reading) went well finally.. but then when i finaaly got it to boot up and fine.. i'm get'n errors :

"fs supermount not supported by kernel"
and my usb-drivers not found/loading , is this set off by default config on 2.6.7? anyone know?

My main question is.. are there mandrake kernels i should get or are these errors workable with a stock kernel..

:edit:

ps. i can boot up fine and run everything.. cept usb obviously.. but somone slap me i dont know what the fs supermount deal is.. or what it affects.

I'm a newbie myself, but I think supermount is automatic mounting (such as when you put a CD into the drive, it will automatically be mounted, much like in Windows), which is a seperate kernel patch. (That is, not in stock kernels.)
