Magicpoint Installation Error

Dear friends
I have downloaded the Magicpoint1.11 (Source tar ball). While trying to install there is some error occures. I am listing the errors below. My os is RHLinux 9.0.

making ./image/libmgpimage.a in ./image...
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/magicpoint-1.11a/image'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/magicpoint-1.11a/image'
make: *** [image/libmgpimage.a] Error 2

Kinldy help me to solve the above errors

As you are installing from source, you probably need a real programmers help (as apposed to mine). But here are my thoughts:

It looks to me like a makefile problem. It could be something fishy in the source tarball, or maybe you are missing a dependency.

Again, I'm not yet a real programmer. These are just my thoughts.
