lynx has problem with ncurses in 64-bit kernel
I've been building my own lynx for years. I switched to 64-bit kernel recently and re-built lynx. It crashes on start with a segmentation fault. Package lynx (Slackware) works. I built lynx with package source; it still failed the same way.
I noticed that package lynx uses ncursesw; I use ncurses (old habit). When I built with ncursesw instead my lynx works.
I've messaged the lynx development group.
