Hello,
I'm trying to install the new Luakit-develop package on Debian.
I have installed all the required packages but when I run make I get this error message:
Code:
Package sqlite3 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `sqlite3.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'sqlite3' found
Package luajit was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `luajit.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'luajit' found
config.mk:115: *** Cannot find required package(s\) to build luakit. Please check you have the above packages installed and try again. Stop.
Both sqlite3 and luajit are installed.
I have been looking at luakit-develop Makefile and config.mk and couldn't find where I should add the path to those packages.
These messages usually indicate that gcc has not found the relevant library headers. You may indeed have the libraries themselves, but have you installed the corresponding -dev packages?

Right on, installed -dev libraries and now it works.
