Question Looking for web based administration of pppd

I have set up a linux gateway using pppd for the company I work for. Unfortunately, every once in a while the interface goes down and I am the only one who knows how to get it turned back on. I was going to write a php script that would allow users from our local network to bring the interface up and down by accessing the machine with their web browser. However, I figured that I would check and see if something like that existed before I made one?

Anyone know of something like this?

u can do that in webmin. why not just set-up a script that monitors if the connection is up and automatically starts the connection if it is determined to be down? that way, u don't have t o manually check it or start it.

Thanks, I will look at webadmin.

I did not want to automate it because I am going to be leaving here and no one here is linux literate ( or computer literate either ). I am more comfortable setting up web based administration than I am leaving a redial script running.
