Question Looking for Soccer (Football) Team Management/Roster Software

As of last week, I've been volunteered to coach my son's U6 (AYSO) soccer team. (I know that's football to you outside the USA...)

In any case, once I figured out that the kids won't be trying to pass the ball to the guy in the end zone, or hitting it with any kind of bat, I figured I'd better start learning how to coach these guys and gals. One thing I know I've used in the past with baseball and scouting is a roster management tool. I notice there are a few for Wintendo but none so far for Linux that I can find. I looked in google, in SMART and under my bed - all to no avail.

Other than the BygFoot Management Game, is there any tool that you all know of?

I'm currently using SUSE 10.2 with KDE, but that's not a big issue as I've kind of figured out how to compile things if needed.

TIA!!!

http://phpmysport.sourceforge.net/en/ is a web based tool.

Check out Sourceforge and Freshmeat. You may need to play around (no pun intended, YMMV!) with your search terms as there are a lot of simulators on there.

Thank you.

I will install it. I just downloaded and installed PHP and MySQL. (I cannot believe how easy it is nowdays!)

I'll report back when I find out more.

Angry

UPDATE: Well, that didn't work too well. I can install, but that's it. It seems to go through the install process in a cyclical fashion.

Maybe I'll just write something. I cannot believe the world doesn't have something already.
