lkl - keylogging program

I am currently using ubuntu 7.10 and I am trying to get lkl to work but I honestly can't find any information on it. I installed it through synaptic and when I run it, it asks me to give the location of my keymaps and I don't really know what keymaps it is asking for. I tried /usr/share/keymaps and /usr/share/lkl/keymaps but neither work. any suggestions?
