There is not just one. Linux is all over, used different ways for so MANY different things, but a start begins with the searching.

Why do you want to learn about Linux? What do you want to use it for?

Try this recipe:
1. Go to the Linux Mint website, find the documentation page, and download the pdf versions of the Installation Guide and the Mate User Guide. Have a quick read of the first.
2. Download the Mate version of Mint and install, following the instructions.
3. Boot up Mint and work your way through the User Guide, trying out all the facilities and the software.
4. If you need more information about a program, try its website: LibreOffice has free book-sized pdfs.
5. If you need more help, come here of search the web.
