Angry LimeWire will only run under root

When I installed LimeWire I set up the path to java as root then logged out of root to do the actual install of limewire. But I kept getting a message saying that there was not enough temp space or the VM was not installed. So I tried the install under root and it worked fine.

Now I can only get limewire to work if I open up a terminal log in as root and then open it up.

I'm still a newbie so I'm not sure how to fix this.

Thanks for any help.

Mitch

give this a shot. as root type chmod 777 runLimeWire
this is done in the directory that the file is in. exit out of root then try
