lightweight alternative to Nautilus

Any one recommend a lightweight alternative to Nautilus that I can use under both Fluxbox and GNOME?

Nautilus is OK but I am trying to downsize my applications as I have a low memory machine.

I have RedHat 9.

Midnight Commander (run mc from a command line) - you don't get much lighter than mc.

You may already have it, type mc into a console. You should see a 2 pane text file manager.
