LibreOffice won't go away, XFCE on Sparky 32 bit

I'm running Sparky Linux 5.13 Nibiru with XFCE desktop. I'm in the process of setting up an old XP laptop for my dad to get some experience with Linux, and the process is slow but going mostly smooth. The problem I'm having is with LibreOffice, specifically removing it completely from the system. I thought I'd gotten it deleted by doing
Code:
sudo apt remove --purge libreoffice*
sudo apt clean
sudo apt autoremove
And this has removed all instances in my application launchers and whisker menu is clear. After doing all this I was working on some cosmetic details and found a prompt when going to change the profile picture for the user name. Upon applying the new user icon I get the prompt:
Quote:
"Would you also like to update your user details in LibreOffice?"
So I need to figure out what's lingering to cause this, and how to make sure nothing else is hiding? I've tried googling to no avail. Anyone know where and how I need to look and fix this?

Your LibreOffice user configuration won't get removed even with --purge. You can remove it manually with
Code:
rm -r ~/.config/libreoffice
OTOH, it's harmless to leave the configuration in place. Here is a recent thread about it.

Apt removes packages and (with --purge option) their configuration files; i.e. global system files. If LibreOffice run at least once (or maybe even not run; I am not familiar with the install process of LO package), it created an user profile in the home directory, probably as ~/.config/libreoffice or so; and I am almost sure that the quoted “your user details in LibreOffice” belongs there.
So, at least as the first step, it is recommendable to remove ~/.config/libreoffice directory.
Disclaimer: I have a limited experience with XFCE desktop, so no idea what wizard from the bottommost pit of hell asked you to update these details; generally I can recommend to avoid all these wizards and prompts and simply manually edit configuration files, copy pictures etc – at least, you always know exactly what you are doing

EDIT: I did not refresh the page before posting, so sorry for partial dubbing the previous post.

Have you rebooted after the purge?

Deleting ~/.config/libreoffice did eliminate that prompt.
r37: I've put the system away for the evening so I'm not sure the name of the application, but it was a gtk users and groups manager I found, although XFCE can be confusing to navigate.

I couldn't find a way to change my user icon with the included GUI utilities, and I want to give my dad as many GUI utils as possible. I'm trying to get him away from Microsoft.
