I'm trying to copy a forumula from one sheet to another sheet, that references a third sheet, but try as I might I can cannot get it to paste without a REF# error.

So for example on sheet 1 I have the formula say =A5+sheet3.A7, so the cell in sheet 1 adds A5 to whatever is sheet3 A7. For sheet 2 I want to baically copy sheet 1 so I can use the same formula but change A5 on sheet 2 so I get a different result. So I copy sheet 1 and pasted ( I've tried special as well ) into sheet 2 this produces a a REF error. On checking the pasted cell I can see rather than saying =A5+sheet3.A7 it says =A5+REF!A7. How can I get it to copy a formula which references a third sheet.
