Ok, I forgot to execute this:
Code:
anisha@linux-uitj:~/tarBalls/qtFlash> unzip installpack001.zip
now:
Code:
anisha@linux-uitj:~/tarBalls/qtFlash> ./setup.sh
./setup-bin: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by /home/anisha/tarBalls/qtFlash/lib/libQtGui.so.4)
Let me see if I can get this installed.

Not sure, but are you trying to install 32-bit software on a 64-bit system?

They say, 2.1 version has support for the 64 bit.

Looks like setup-bin is 32 bit and your system is pure 64-bit.
I think you have two choices: either get 64-bit installation or install 32-bit libraries

So, the GLIBC version on 11.2 was 2.3, so instead of upgrading the GLIBC (which could have been a cumbersome task since Suse's repository doesn't have any support for it), I decided to upgrade to 11.3 which has GLIB 2.11 pre-installed.
