Arrow ld-linux.so.1


quake2 installation requires
ld-linux.so.1 library file in /lib directory
i ve fedora 7 .and ld-linux.so.2 .
Can any one tell me_____from where can
I download ld-linux.so.1 and what is it

Maybe I cannot be of great help, since I never compiled Quake, but the ld-linux.so.1 is the dynamic linker for an old version of glibc and it is not supported from Fedora anymore (and maybe from most of the other distributions). You can see

for further details, but take in mind that even if the manual page refers to the old version, it is likely not updated since 2001. Anyway, do you know the Quake-HOWTO? Maybe some useful info there.
