Laptop hangs when on batteries after ~30 seconds inactivity
Hi,
My problem is that when running my laptop on batteries, after about 30 seconds inactivity the system will hang for a full 2 seconds or so. Then if I strike a key, or more the mouse it will hang for another two seconds.
I noticed this because it is also causing music to hang as well.
I've guessed that this is something to do with my power management configuration. In powertop I can see the number of wake-ups from idle goes down after the first 30 seconds as well, but I don't really know what I can do next. The Gnome config utility is quite basic, I need something with more options!
Can anyone tell me what tools I should be using to fix this?
