Laptop Driver

I have just bought a new Compaq Laptop, after removing the Windows XP, I had installed Fedore Core 3. However, some of the hardware cannot be detected like the sound card, ethernet card, wireless LAN card...etc. There are not driver package for Linux from the given installation disc.

I would like to ask how I can know the exact hardware I have equipped in my laptop and how i can get those driver package?

Thank you

$ locate lspci
/sbin/lspci
/usr/share/man/man8/lspci.8.gz

$ /sbin/lspci -v

Save the output to a file for easier viewing and possible posting example;
$ /sbin/lspci -v > hardware.txt
