L.O.document font prints the size of Firefox default "noto sans 22" instead of "ns12"

Why do my Libre Office documents print at the same size as my settings shown in Firefox preferences for default font which is “NOTO SANS 22”?
I have Document font set to NOTO SANS 12
Yet my documents always come out 22 size unless I reduce Firefox font to 12 each time I print a document? This is just another one of the many weird happenings I experiemce using Mint Linux LibreOffice. Can it be fixed? Hope I explained it well enough. I asked before years ago but just got put off like it was impossible to happen. Thanx SW

1sweetwater!,

I use Ubuntu MATE 14.04.1 (very similar to Linux Mint 17.1) and I have the attached settings for Firefox and LibreOffice Writer.

In Firefox:
Edit > Preferences > Content > Advanced.

My LO Writer behaves independently of my Firefox settings.
