Kopete File Transfer

I am new to IM on Linux and really trying to choose between Kopete or Gaim, the one function I cant find how to do on either is define the folder that file transfers go into or disable file transfers alltogether, this is sort of a security issue really, as in file sharing, the shared folder can become in an insecure target point, being unable to control this doesnt seem right, anyone have any idea how to define these things in either program??

Since I've never gotten file transfer to work, I wouldn't worry about it too much. also, it's not likely you will be a target of malicious file transfer, since code for win32 doesn't natively execute under linux.

I guess it would still be good to be able to control it, it seems odd that you cant.....
