I've been trying out various money managing packages, and although I'm using Pclos Gnome I've finally persuaded myself that Kmymoney suits me best. The only thing about it I find hard to live with is the blinding white background -( I have a 22" Imac with brightness turned right down)- which I have not managed to alter. The Settings > Colour > Background option only affects small areas of the screen. I have googled for over an hour to see if there are skins or themes for Kmymoney without success, although I have found a .png of a Kmymoney skin at
http://imagebin.ca/view/n3NLAl.html which would suit me fine, but I can't discover where to get this skin. I've even tried replacing 'window' for 'windowText' and vice versa in the 'kmymoney.css' file, but it only produces a black background in the information windows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
