kmplayer installation becomes a nightmare
First off, its not on my install discs, so I go to pbone, and download kmplayer-0.9.1a rpms, but my
set up tool (Yast on Suse 9.0) bombs on every one.
So, I go and download the source from the kmplayer site
and run ./configure, this bombs, but after a bit I see that
I need to install the kde developer and Qt developer
stuff so I have the headers.
I then find I don't have kdemacros.h, I find it on the net
and copy it to the right place.
Now configure runs fine. I type make, but the compilation
bombs because I don't have kdeactioncollection.h. This
is duly found on the net. It's identical to my kaction.h file
so I just cp kaction.h kactioncollection.h. At last...
Now I get
kmplayervies.cpp:727 error: no matching function for KFindDialoh::KFindDialog(bool
and so on
/opt/kde3/include/finddialg.h:63 error: candidates are
+ 2 more errors
Then an error in kmplayerview:770
and the compilation bombs.
Come on now, it has to be easier than this doesn't it
