You only started this thread 12Hrs before you posted to your own thread to "bump" it.
This was not a "good idea" because:
1] This thread is now off the "Zero Replies" list, which many LQ users monitor, and actively try to provide answers to.
2] LQ will "Auto-bump" your thread to the top of the forum list if it has had no reply for > 24Hrs.
LQ will do this for three days.
This isn't going to happen now
3] Answers are provided by volunteers. We are not a "Support Service" that you have paid for. We don't like being reminded that we have not had the time to research or answer your question. As individuals, we may not understand or even be interested in your problem.

So, either you need to use kismet as "an intrusion detection system", in which case you should know how to use and configure it, or you'd like to use it for some other purpose, which we are unlikely to help you with until you explain your position and needs better.
Also, I suspect many LQ users may "move on" when they read you are running a VM [ too many complications, when you do not explain your VM ].
