Google returned quite a bit on that. It's related to your network interface(s). Since you don't say what version/distro of Linux, on what hardware, it's hard to be of more help.

My network interfacse are from PCNET interfaces,so pcnet32 driver is complaining this error. And the kernel version is 2.4.20/22

Please let me know.

Well, you still don't say what version/distro of Linux, or what specific hardware you're running. However, since you're running a very old kernel (2.4), the first thing I'd suggest is upgrading the system.

2.6 updates everything, including the hardware modules. If you're running new hardware on an old OS, that'll do it.

AFAIK, this is a open source kernel and PCI interfaces.
What could be the reason behind this TX timeout?

Re-read my previous post...yes, 2.4 is an open source kernel, but it's OLD. Update it, and the modules and everything else will get updated too.

Could be a problem with new hardware/old OS, but you STILL haven't said what version/distro of Linux, or what specific hardware is in question.
