kernel-headers for vpn program

I am trying to install a Cisco VPN client for linux.
It says I need kernel headers, usually found at /usr/src/linux-2.4 (for RedHat 7.3 - latest kernel)

I believe that i need to install the kernel-source to provide the headers, but i ran into loop problems. I need kernel-headers to install kernel-source... see output from rpm install below:

[root@howler root]# rpm -iv kernel-source-2.4.18-19.7.x.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
gcc >= 2.96-75 is needed by kernel-source-2.4.18-19.7.x
[root@howler root]# rpm -iv gcc-2.96-110.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
glibc-devel is needed by gcc-2.96-110
[root@howler root]# rpm -iv glibc-devel-2.2.5-34.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
kernel-headers is needed by glibc-devel-2.2.5-34
kernel-headers >= 2.2.1 is needed by glibc-devel-2.2.5-34

So i am stuck - how can get kernel-headers? There is no package at rpmfind for my distro and kernelversion.

Help welcome.

I hope that you do not mind
It was kind of stupid question.
Install kernelheaders first and then kernel source
Otherwise
instead of rpm -iv
use rpm -ivh --nodeps(to ignore dependencies)
