KDevelop Dependencies

I want ot install KDevelop, But I'm also very attached to amaroK 1.2

KDevelop won't install because it wants me to downgrade my versions of
KDElibs and arts; these two prgrams just aren't made for each other...
How do I solve this?

Thanks in advance,
Riddick

you could always build KDevelop from source but on a suse box your going to need alot of the -devel installed (as well as the development tools )

Well, it will not solve your problem with the versions ( not sure why Yast would want you to downgrade???).

What I was referring to was if you decided building it from source was the way you wanted to go, make sure you have the kde and qt -devel rpm's installed (you may need more like the X -devel package) and the development tools installed before you start.

Since Suse splits its packages compiling will be a pain unless you make sure you have everything you need.

KDevelop has Suse packages on their website, will any of these work for you?
