KDE Plasma - Evolution

I am using this setup for almost a year, now it stopped working.

I open Evolution, but it does NOT retrieve my emails.
I had 4 email accounts, I removed one of them and it seems that may have been the reason

Hope to get some hints here

Thanks
Alex

Alex, I've been having problems with my e-mail from EVERY client that uses POP3 (my e-mail is handled by AOL), but G-mail (IMAP) seems to be fine. I've tried Thunderbird, Evolution and Kmail with the same results - inability to login. Web access using Firefox works also.
My suspicion is that AOL changed their security protocol and the clients have not caught up to the change. Can't prove that just yet, but they're certainly acting that way.

OK, I have 3 email accounts, none of them is AOL.
I have one Gmail account (my main account) - I have no problem accessing it via Chrome
@ more email accounts of my role as webmaster@... I can access those thorugh the website host service, no problem

Only in Evolution - can't retrieve emails, all three accounts are POP3, have no intention to change to IMAP

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Alex

I've been having this problem for over a month now. The only work-around seems to be 1) access the mail from a web browser or 2) forward the POP3 accounts to the working g-mail (imap). Bummer, I know.
