I installed KDE Network Manager throught apt-get. But it is not able to detect any of the network. It simply says (when run from terminal) at the command prompt:
Connection to D-Bus system message bus failed:
Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: Connection refused.
