KDE Configure problem

Hi

>checking for KDE... libraries /opt/kde3/lib, headers /opt/kde3/include
>checking if UIC has KDE plugins available... no
>configure: error: you need to install kdelibs first.

I am trying to compile a new version of DIGIKAM and cannot get past this
error message. I have installed all the libraries I can find pertaining to
Qt and KDE. I have also checked and installed all the plugins I think
are necessary.
I am using SuSe 9.1 and digikam-0.7.beta

Does anyone have any ideas?

Why don't you be lazy and install digikam from:-

http://www.suse.com/us/private/downl...9_1/extra.html

together with the two other files needed:-

kipi-plugins

libkipi

KDE Configure problem

Thanks dth1
I took the lazy route.
I obviously overlooked the compiled version.
