So I have updated my KDE 3.1.4 to the KDE 3.2 using the YaST online and a specific FTP installation source all under SuSe 8.2.

Good issue:
KDE 3.2 seems to be quickier as the old version. Many adjust possibilities and new color and themes are available.

Bad things:
Some applications ( and their icons) are not any more where it was. kshowmail for instance even it was updated doesn't start.

Ugly things:
KDE 3.2 take the control of the Sound Driver. Even this issue could be deactive, some games running without sound. Xmms is blocked using the artsound driver, with oss not but a warning appear informed that the sound car is block and, and, and. Noatun work properly.

At the begining of the YaST update appearing some inconsistencies related with the kpim...(?) I decided to go ahead selecting the uninstall of Kpim.

OK, has someone an idea about the above described behavior?
Has any one similar expiriences?

Hello so,
Bad things about some missing programs and icons is solved.
What I can not bring in to work is xmms. (under KDE3.1.4 was OK)
Noatun work fine OK, other application like Kaffeine doesn't have problem with sound but xmms cannot play my mp3 files.
Can someone give me a tipp?:
SUSE 8.2
KDE 3.2
CPU AMD XP 2200+
Build in sound card CMI8338/8738
