Check to see it is a stable release.
Many already use KDE 3.2, I do not, I use GNOME and Fluxbox, but if Fedora has the rpm command available to it, use rpm -Uvh to install the packages.

It should install just fine.

edit: Don't be skerred .

hi,

i updated the stock kde 3.1.4 under suse 9.0 to kde 3.2 a couple of weeks ago.

there were one or two small snags but in the end it worked out ok.

given that it's a fairly major update, i'd recommend you backup any important files, possibly even backing up your entire /home directory so that you can easily restore settings in the event of disaster.
i'd also recommend that you consult any distro-specific documentation - there were a couple of suse-specific issues that i had to resolve.

all told, kde 3.2 is a worthwhile upgrade - it seems slightly faster, looks much nicer and resolves one or two bugs that used to madden me with earlier versions..

the only downside is that i've lost some of the tight suse integration, but i'm not too worried about that.
